Sorry I haven't updated in a while, it's been a pretty fucked up week.
About 2 hours after my last post, I had a run in with a couple of proxies. Now, it's all well and good to act the hard man online and say that you can fight these guys off no problem, like I've seen a couple of people doing, but the fact of the matter is that they don't think like we do any more. They aren't afraid of you, and have a high tolerance for pain. Also, they tend to be armed in some way. So riddle me this; how exactly are you supposed to win in a fight against someone who ignores almost all pain? They prioritise their orders over their own safety. This makes them more dangerous than most of us could ever be.
So I did the smart thing, and ran. They managed to grab Betty before I got away, which kind of pissed me off. But I managed to lose them in the end, which is the main thing.
That night I was pretty reluctant to sleep without Betty standing guard, but eventually I nodded off. Rookie error, I know. For clarity's sake, I'll elaborate a little. When I dozed off I was on the roof of the San Jaime hospital in Torrevieja, southern Spain. It's a tall building, and was a nightmare to climb without being spotted by any of the staff, so I figured I was pretty safe up there. When I woke up, I was on the floor in the middle of the Room of a Hundred Columns, in Güell Park, Barcelona. I felt sick to my stomach, my head was pounding, and I was really disoriented. I knew that I'd been moved, but it took me a while to figure out where exactly I was. Now, Güell Park is a surreal place at the best of times, but waking up there with Slender Sickness when you fell asleep about 600km away from it, well that's just plain scary.
I checked my phone, and it had been 3 days since I "nodded off".
I got my bearings and made my way outside, and you won't believe who was waiting for me out there. It was my old friend Betty! But it looked like the proxies had been busy little bees. There were numbers scribbled across her torso, seemingly random. I don't know what they mean, but I've seen crap like this on other peoples Blogs. I was never any good with codes though. I just can't understand them. If anyone has any ideas what this means, let me know.
"97 116 104 105 101 118 101 115 115 116 105 108 108 108 105 112 115"
Anyway, I grabbed Betty and moved as fast as I could (which wasn't particularly fast, I felt really rough. Is it just me, or does it get worse every time?). Then I just kept going. I haven't stopped for more than 5 minutes since then, hence the fact that I haven't updated. So yeah, I'm still alive, I've moved on to a different country again, and I think that they might have lost my trail.Fingers crossed.
I'll post something a bit more useful tomorrow, this was just a quick message to let anyone who cares know that I'm still around. Until then...
Eyes open, guard up.

A Note on Animals
Another day, another country.
I want to make a note here about animals, as I have seen a couple of people asking about them in various places online.
I met a girl named Rosa in France who was on the run with her dog. This was about 6 months ago now. She was adamant that her dog, Scrapper, could sense Him before she could. Scrapper would apparently go nuts for a couple of minutes before He would show up. She thought of it as an early warning system. And I have to say, I have noticed dogs going mental when He is about before. But, running with a dog carries some major drawbacks too.
Firstly, if you care about your dog's safety, leave them with somebody before you run, if you can. The Slender Suit will target them if you take them with you, presumably to stop them from warning you to His presence. I got a call from Rosa a couple of weeks after I had met her. Scrapper had been taken, and she was in a real state about it. I haven't heard from her since. I think she's gone now too.
Secondly, a lot of public transport won't let you take a dog on with you. Same with hotels, if you are that way inclined. This is a massive inconvenience when you are trying to run for your life, so if you are going to be reliant on public transport a dog is a definite no-no.
Thirdly, getting up high is an issue. It's hard to get a dog up onto rooftops, and even harder to keep them calm once you do get them up there. Dogs hate being on rooftops . It also isn't particularly safe for them to be up there. They like to try to get down, and if your going about this the right way then it should be a long way down. This can be even worse if you have a big dog. If your having a nap on top of a 5 floor apartment block, with a big dog on the end of a lead that you have tied to your arm, then what do you think is going to happen to you if that dog decides he's gonna try to get down from there?
Lastly, Rosa told me that sometimes when she was up high and relatively safe, with Slendy far below and seemingly unable to see her, Scrappers barking would attract His attention and put them both in the line of fire. This is not good, as I'm sure you are all aware.
So, I have to say that unless it is completely unavoidable, don't bring your dog when you start running. It will only end up being a burden.
As for cats, I have never met anyone who had a cat for a travelling companion, but one guy who I met back in the UK (think his name was Jim, or John, or something beginning with J. Dunno, it was a long time ago) said that the only reason he didn't assume that he was crazy when this started happening to him was because when He started showing up, his cat would stare right at Him through the window too. He also said that the day after He first showed up inside the house, the cat ran away to a neighbours place and was very reluctant to go home again.
I don't know anything about any other animals really. I'd be interested to hear anything that anybody else has experienced on the subject. Anyways, me and Betty have found a nice roof to enjoy our lunch on, so I'm gonna say bye for now. Oh yeah, Betty is my mannequin. Well, the torso and head of it. The limbs were a bit awkward to carry.
Keep moving, stay safe.

A Bit About Me
My name is Kzra, and I've been running for nearly a year. I won't go into too much detail about how this got started for me, because that is none of your damned business. I have only recently been pointed to the online community here by a runner called Caleb that I bumped into at a train station in western Portugal (recognized each other by the (X) symbols on our hoodies) who wanted to use my laptop to try to see if "M" was still AWOL.
You might be wondering how I got involved when I wasn't reading these blogs and shit. Well, my girlfriend was to blame for that, if anyone can really be blamed. She was always online, so I'm kinda guessing now that this is where she got herself "infected", or somewhere like this. And I got dragged in through her.
But as I said, that was nearly a year ago. She taught me about the three rules, so I guess I have "M" to thank for me still being alive today, not that I knew where she picked them up from until now. The day before we were planning to run... Let's just say that we didn't realize how little time we had. When I ran, it was alone.
And once you start running, you can't stop.
Golden Rule: You are never safe.
So anyways, I started in the UK. I know, big shock, a Non-American runner. We seem to be a rarity. I kept up high, kept my eyes open, drew my (X)'s, and kept moving. I put my flat up for sale, and left that to the bank and my solicitor to sort, and when it sold I used the cash to start running for real.
The UK was pretty mellow compared to a lot of places I've been. Sure, Stretch Armstrong would show up from time to time, but nowhere near as often as He did when I was in the likes of Germany, Belgium, Poland, basically the whole of mainland Europe is pretty rough, with the exception of Spain and Portugal. They seem quieter. Not sure why, but I'll think on it.
As for any tips I have picked up along the way, my first is don't wait to run. Once you see Him, times up. If you decide to wait around like we did... If you wait, you die. I got lucky. She didn't. That fucker doesn't care who you are, or what else you may have going on at the moment in your life. So once more, because this is important, the second he shows up in your life, you pack a back and get up high.
Obviously, if you haven't done so already, read "M"'s blog, he covers a lot of the basics, and is the best place to start.
To summarize for those who aren't aware:
One last thing until next time (my bus has just arrived, and so I'm gonna be out of range of wi-fi for a bit). This may sound ridiculous, but if you can get your hands on one, a mannequin, like the ones found in clothes shops, can be your best friend. It has to be one with a head though (some don't have heads, and these are useless to you). They work better than the (X) does at tricking him. And if you take the time to color the eyes in properly, it can work time and time again.
Anyways, good luck to all of you out there running for your lives. I'll post again soon. Hope this at least helps someone out there. And Caleb, if your still out there, did you make it over to Morocco yet? Crazy bastard.
Feel free to ask me any questions if you like. I'm happy to try to help. I will check in on here pretty often I think. It's nice to be able to communicate with others who get it.
Kzra out.

"M" is a good man, it seems. Any of you that are new to this would be wise to listen to him, and ask him anything you need to know. That is if he ever starts posting again. At least he isn't dead.
